Denver chef Paul Nagan recently left Range restaurant at the Renaissance Downtown, and now Denver diners know why. The cook known for “new American West” cuisine at Range is starting another hotel restaurant at the yet-to-open Jacquard in Cherry Creek. The new hotel, Nagan’s Narrative restaurant, and a rooftop bar, lounge, and pool are slated to open sometime this summer at 222 Milwaukee Street.
Details of Narrative are still sparse, but diners can expect new American food, shared plates, and a 1,000-bottle wine selection. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served daily in a setting with floor-to-ceiling windows and lots of marble. Also notable at The Jacquard will be a rooftop lounge and pool called Kisbee on the Roof. That area will offer lounge seating, food, wine, and cocktails, with music and community activities.
The Jacquard and its food and beverage offerings are the latest openings announced for Cherry Creek North, which will be booming as ever this summer. One block over, at 3rd Avenue and St. Paul Street, the St. Paul Collection’s high-end residences are under construction, with a clubby New York French restaurant planned for the ground floor. And the new Moxy hotel just opened its Cherry Creek Beer Garden at 240 Josephine Street.
