A new spirits and wine tasting room by the founder of The Big Wonderful and Denver Bazaar just opened on Walnut Street. At Booz Hall RiNo, drinkers will find pop-up bars and bottle shops by Colorado distillers and vintners, as well as boutique shopping and art installations.

Booz Hall’s starting liquor lineup includes Rising Sun Distillery, State 38 Distilling, Wood’s High Mountain Distillery, 3 Hundred Days of Shine, and Jack Rabbit Hill Farm. Rising Sun is the only Denver distiller represented here. Otherwise, drinkers would have to travel to Golden, Salida, Monument, and Hotchkiss to visit these makers’ tasting rooms.

At Booz Hall, the businesses are setting up shop temporarily with a handful each of cocktails, tasters, glasses, and pitchers for customers to try. Jack Rabbit Hill Farm’s wines and ciders are offered by the glass or bottle, Wood’s gin and tonic comes by the glass or pitcher, State 38 is making its seven-ingredient craft margarita among other mixed drinks, and 3 Hundred Days of Shine pours its moonshine in singles and doubles. After visiting the various bars, patrons can buy their favorite bottle(s) to take home with them.

The tasting rooms are operating starting at 4 p.m Tuesday through Sunday, from now until December, at 2845 Walnut Street. In addition to alcohol, there’s a retail shoe store called Goose & the Goat, and an art installation by Red Wolf Collective. Find more information and events on the website.
