The Shake Shack invasion of Denver continues today with the second of three planned locations making its entrance into the market just three months after Denver’s first Shake Shack debuted in RiNo. The 3,156-square-foot Highlands Ranch location just off C-470 at Lucent Boulevard and Plaza Drive opens at 11 a.m. with a menu of burgers, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, and more.
Of course, Shake Shack likes to add the local to the nationwide chain with frozen custard concretes filled with Glazed and Confuzed doughnuts. And just like the RiNo restaurant, this latest location sells wine and beers from Ratio Beerworks, Denver Beer Co., Funkwerks, and more local breweries. The Colorado-exclusive green chile CheddarShack makes the menu with its shredded white cheddar, marinated green chiles, and scallions.
The new Central Park restaurant has an outdoor patio and sits next door to Torchy’s Tacos, which just opened in Highlands Ranch on June 26.
Shake Shack will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays at 1509 Park Central Drive.
Next up will be Shake Shack at Denver International Airport.
