Three months after Denver’s first Shake Shack debuted in RiNo, another outlet of the burger chain is preparing to do business in Highlands Ranch. Shake Shack will open just off C-470, at Lucent Boulevard and Plaza Drive, on July 11. It’s the second of three Denver-area openings of the New York-based brand. Next up will be Shake Shack at Denver International Airport.
Like Shake Shack’s other Colorado location, the Highlands Ranch store will sell green chile cheddar burgers and frozen custard concretes filled with Glazed and Confuzed donuts. ShackBurgers, crinkle fries, and split and griddled hot dogs also are on the food menu. Like RiNo, this latest location sells wine and beers from Ratio Beerworks, Denver Beer Co., Funkwerks, and more local breweries.
The new Central Park store has an outdoor patio and sits next door to Torchy’s Tacos, which just opened in Highlands Ranch on June 26. Starting next Wednesday, Shake Shack will operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays at 1509 Park Central Drive.
