Flower Child, a healthy fast-casual chain, is opening in Boulder in mid-August. The business with locations in Arizona, California, Georgia, Nevada, and Texas is looking to fill more than 80 positions for its entrance into Colorado at 2580 Arapahoe Avenue.

Flower Child serves a range of salads, wraps, and bowls, with menu items like the “Mother Earth” featuring grains, sweet potatoes, avocado, hemp seeds, and veggies. Tea, kombucha, wine, and local beers round out the menu on the drinks side. The eatery prides itself on fresh foods, offered as vegetarian, vegan, and paleo meals, with all the “-free” options. For proteins, Flower Child uses non-GMO tofu, sustainable salmon, and natural chicken and steak.

The restaurant is part of Fox Restaurant Concepts, which operates 14 brands across six states. Olive & Ivory, North Italia, The Greene House, and Wildflower are among them. CEO Sam Fox is best known for his former partnership with Dr. Andrew Weil on True Food Kitchen, which Fox sold last year. Earlier this summer, Oprah invested in that restaurant, which has one Denver location.
