Denver Ted’s makes a comeback, this time serving its cheese steaks in a new, and much larger, LoDo location at 2020 Lawrence St. Now the space features room for 30 on the patio alone.

The restaurant, which originally opened in 2004 in Capitol Hill, closed last year in May at Pearl Street and East 13th Avenue with plans to move downtown. Now diners can pick up beloved cheesesteak varieties daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Seven cheesesteaks range for $8.75 to $11.25 on the regular menu, while another 10 specialty cheesesteaks highlight former pro baseball player Todd Helton, former NFL quarterbacks John Elway and Peyton Manning, and former NBA player Chauncey Billups with their own dishes. The Know reports that mac and cheese bites and jalapeño corn nuggets are the only new additions to the menu.

The space features a bar with local beers and cocktails, as well as “Colorado-centic artwork by partner Jack Mudd.”

A partnership with Ice Cream Riot with its roster of small-batch ice cream scoops and water ices arrives in about two weeks.
