Announced more than a year ago, the third restaurant and bar under the Tap & Burger brand umbrella is back on schedule and expecting to debut this summer at Belleview Station.

Dubbed Tap & Burger South on recent paperwork, the DTC expansion will take over the corner space at 4910 S. Newport St., neighboring MidiCi Neapolitan Pizza, which also confides that it is “coming soon.”

Highland Tap & Burger launched in the northwest in 2010, establishing itself as a neighborhood destination and concentrating on Colorado craft beers and spirits and a casual American menu that features IPA Mac N Cheese and crispy emapanada appetizers, plus Memphis-style spare ribs and Caribbean curried goat entrees. The roster of burgers includes the namesake Tap creation, built with Eli’s Root Beer pulled pork, a Mama’s Pilsner onion ring, and American and Cheddar cheeses.

Sloan’s Lake Tap & Burger arrived in 2016 and like it predecessors, the Belleview Station venue will feature patio seating. An estimated opening date has yet to be unveiled.
