More than a year in the making, the third incarnation of Birdcall will debut this August, occupying an easy-to-spot location near the University of Denver and upgraded with the innovative company’s first drive-thru.

Birdcall completely remodeled the former 1,396-square-foot site of Twisters Burgers & Burritos at the intersection of East Evans Avenue and South Franklin Street. Diners will place orders via Birdcall’s touch screen kiosks.

Opening hours were originally planned to be daily from 7 a.m. to midnight.

The restaurant features an outdoor patio and an eye-catching mural, while the menu is expected to follow the choices found at the year-old Five Points outpost at 800 E. 26th Ave., and the more recent expansion inside the Whole Foods Market at Union Station.

Birdcall has also been recently been working with Corvus Coffee Roasters to create a new beverage program.
