Rebel Restaurant closed over the weekend after three glorious years of Tiki, ramen, dim sum, and night-market pop-ups in RiNo, and now wine outpost Noble Riot announced its plans to take over the space in September.

Owners Scott and Nicole Mattson already have Nocturne Jazz & Supper Club, and now they plan to debut a wine bar with Troy Bowen, who specializes in natural wines, at 38th and Wynkoop.

Scott Mattson and Bowen are already certified sommeliers and even worked together at Mondo Vino in the Highlands. Bowen founded the Colorado Natural Wine Consortium, which organizes and promotes Natural Wine Week events every April.

The wine list here plans to feature varietals from around the world, but from lesser known regions.

Noble Riot also plans to serve cheeses, cured meats, terrines, pâtés, and other wine friendly foods along with daily seasonal dishes.
