LOW Country is Opening a New Rooftop Patio Called Balcon

LOW Country Kitchen is adding a new balcony that will serve New Orleans-influenced cocktails.

Spun off from a soulful Steamboat Springs restaurant, LOW Country Kitchen opened in Denver a little over a year ago. The balcony will be named Balcon, which is French for balcony.

The new watering hole will serve up seasonal cocktails and southern snacks starting Wednesday, Oct. 10.

Located at 1517 Boulder Street, Balcon will have its own alley entrance and a casual walk-up bar with greenery and bistro lights overhead. Seating will include shared picnic tables, and heaters will allow drinkers and diners to visit the new bar all year long (weather permitting).

Drinks will range from classics to original spins on New Orleans-style cocktails, along with beer and wine. Snacks will include spiced and boiled peanuts and a basket of pickles. Balcon will serve from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
