With the opening of Broadway Market in Denver on February 15, the Front Range will be home to a dozen food halls. This latest, at the edge of the Golden Triangle, is bringing with it 10 new dining options including previously announced Turkish and Indian food stalls, a Roman pizzeria, grab-and-go deli, sushi counter, and chocolatier.
The latest businesses to join the lineup are Maria Empanada, Wonder juice and coffee shop, and Little Noodle Pasta Co. A central bar and retail store will complete the 15,000-square-foot space.
Broadway Market is currently renovating the former home of Tony’s Market at 950 North Broadway for its February opening. Five of the food stalls here are offshoots of existing businesses at Aurora’s Stanley Marketplace (Stanley’s developer is behind both of the projects). Two of the stalls are offshoots of well-known Denver businesses — Coperta and Biju’s Little Curry Shop.
The market hall’s original offering will be a Turkish food stall called Mother Tongue. There, chef Daniel Asher is planning a pop-up of sorts. He’ll serve doner kebab and falafel to start but then change the menu periodically to highlight other international cuisines.
