When Edgewater Public Market eventually opens near Sloan’s Lake, a pizza spot will be among its tenants.

BusinessDen reports that Tilford’s Wood Fired Pizza, which currently operates out of roving food truck in Denver, will open inside a 480-square-foot space inside the new food hall.

Tilford’s pizzas are cooked in a wood fire oven for 90 seconds at 900 degrees. But while the food truck serves only pizza, the new Edgewater Market stall will also offer appetizers, salads, and desserts.

A river-themed taproom is now open in Baker

Good River Beer, a four-year-old Denver brewery known for donating two percent of its sales to organizations involved in river conservation, opened a new taproom in Baker on Friday, 5280 reports.

The new 2,500-square-foot taproom is located within the 15,000-square-foot brewing facility that Good River Beer, Renegade Brewing Company and Rocky Mountain Sector Brewing Co. share in the Yard at Santa Fe Development at 900 West First Avenue.

According to both 5280 and Westword, the taproom has an outdoorsy river and mountain theme with a kayak, tables made from reclaimed wood, and a moon-like disco ball that hangs over the space.

The new taproom will feature 22 taps serving Good River staples like the Daily Float Pale Ale plus and smaller, experimental pours such as the cherry porter and tropical wheat ale that are both currently on tap. Renegade and Rocky Mountain Sector beer will also be sold in the taproom. The taproom will also serve grilled cheese.

Good River Beer, Renegade Brewing Company and Rocky Mountain Sector Brewing Co. are also planning to open a shared taproom and restaurant in Old Town Arvada next year, according to 5280 and Westword. [5280 and Westword]
