RiNo’s wood-fired seafood restaurant gets ready to reopen after a fire closed the restaurant back in October. Fish N Beer at 3510 Larimer St. closed after a roof fire on October 19 and now plans to reopen March 1. Back in December, owner Kevin Morrison originally planned to reopen the seafood restaurant, but discovered that while the damage was minimal, a fire inspector and his insurance company estimated more than a month of repairs and red tape to get through.
The restaurant specializes in fresh oysters, wood-grilled fish out of Colorado, and an eclectic selection of draft beers. Ora King salmon from New Zealand, whole grilled Colorado bass, and of course lager-battered sustainable cod and chips make the menu.
Fish N Beer plans to be open Monday through Saturday from 5 to 10 p.m. and on Sundays for brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. A happy hour takes place all night on Mondays and again from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
