Back in 2007, the original location of Snarf’s Sandwiches in Boulder had to find a new home after “The Shack,” as it was called, found itself in the way of new apartments on the way following an 11-year run in the space. The sandwich shop ended up moving to 2128 Pearl St. Now that location finds itself in the way of new condominiums. On March 27, Snarf’s again closes with hopes of finding yet another new location in Boulder.
Jimmy “Snarf” Seidel hopes customers stop by to leave their memories on a community chalkboard that will find a home in the new location. Plus, for a $5 donation, customers can get an Italian, turkey, ham, roast beef, or veggie sandwich with chips and a drink. The funds benefit Attention Homes, which provides housing for homeless and at-risk youth in Boulder County.
Of course, Snarf’s has grown to more than 20 locations spanning Denver, Austin, Texas, and St. Louis.
