New Indian Restaurant Opens on University Boulevard

Free delivery

Newcomer Serene Cuisine of India opened this week in the the former Four Friends Kitchen at 2070 South University Boulevard. Co-owners Amarendra Sarma, Niru Basnet, Suman Roy, and Deboshmita Saha want to make Serene “Denver’s ultimate Indian culinary experience.”

On the Serene website, the team writes, “While the Denver food scene has grown tremendously over the past 10 years, the choice in Indian cuisine has lagged, creating an opportunity for these young entrepreneurs to fill the gap and provide local residents and businesses with a rich and tasty culinary experience.”

The extensive menu includes samosas, tandoor specialties, curries, kormas, masalas, and more.

Serene is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The restaurant hopes to “... make an instant impact on the South East side of Denver.”

The restaurant is currently taking online reservations, as well as online food ordering through ChowNow, and free delivery.

If you happen to visit, leave your thoughts in the comments.
