Chef Merlin Verrier Joins Avanti With Street Food

Tacos and steam buns

In early August, street food concept Street Feud will take over the BoraCho Tacos space at the Avanti Food & Beverage collective. Industry veteran Merlin Verrier is the head chef for the new addition. Verrier accolades include being a guest judge on MasterChef with Gordon Ramsey, creating a birthday dinner for former President Barack Obama, and serving as culinary director for Lollapalooza.

Street Feud will be a mashup of tacos, steam buns, lettuce wraps, and more. The press release explains:

Street Feud offers guests its take on international street food by mixing and matching the tastiest combinations in unique and innovative ways. The first-of-its-kind concept will pair foods from around the world to “feud” on guests’ plates with flavors that will inspire and delight.

Street Feud will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The restaurant joins Chicken Rebel, Bistro Georgette, Brava! Pizzeria Della Strada, The Rotary, Quiero Arepas and QuickFish Poke Bar.
