Denver Pizza Co. debuts its second location, this time in the Mayfair neighborhood. The 700-square-foot restaurant features Coors Banquet beer-battered, thin-crust pizzas and a Colorado-style deep dish pizza, along with a roster of chicken wings, salads, and sides.
The pizzeria features 12 Colorado-themed combinations including the Cripple Creek for meat lover; the East Colfax with a green chili-based sauce; the Boulder Pie topped with veggies; The Magnificent 7 topped with seven ingredients; the Native, a Margherita pizza; the 5280, a nod to Denver with some favorite local spices; the Cease & Desist, a sweet and salty combination; the Avalanche, a whiteout of alfredo sauce and artichoke hearts; the Hot Spring, a spicy treat; the Red Rocks, for the hot sauce connoisseur; the Cream Cheesman, a cream cheese lover’s dream; and the Crew Pie, a monthly special. Gluten-free and vegan pizzas also make the menu.
The restaurant also offers dry-rubbed or saucy oven-baked chicken wings, salads, breadsticks, and locally made ice cream.
Denver Pizza Co. also offers Take N’ Bake pies complete with step-by-step baking instructions to make at home.
