On August 22, new American restaurant American Elm will in the former Way Back space at 4132 W 38th Avenue.
“We are excited to be part of the neighborhood and become a staple in the community,” said owner Bob Reiter. “Our vision is to be a neighborhood social club where friends and family can come together for any occasion. Be it post-work happy hour, family brunch, or your anniversary dinner - our goal is to create an environment in which you’re comfortable sharing each of these experiences with us.”
Chef Brent Turnipseede (formerly of Guard & Grace) will offer a menu full of classic American bistro fare with a raw bar. Bar manager Jesse Torres will offer classic cocktails along with beer and wine.
The restaurant is named after the elm tree in the restaurant’s patio area.
American Elm will be open 7 days a week for happy hour and dinner and brunch on the weekends.
