Indian restaurant Urban Village recently opened in Lone Tree at 9234 Park Meadows Drive. The menu offers “... classic and contemporary dishes from every Indian region and village across the vast country representing a wide range of flavor profiles.”
Owner Ramesh Madakasira is from Anantapur, India, and executive chef Charles Mani is from Chennai, India. Mani gained acclaim at New York’s Babu Ji.
“Many times I go to an Indian restaurant and am intimidated by the giant menu. And I’m from India,” said Madakasira. “We created a menu of highlights where guests can spend more time enjoying their dining companions and dishes than in choosing what to order. Chef Mani has created a menu where you really can’t choose wrong.”
Dishes include crispy cauliflower tossed in tomato chili oil, butter chicken, coconut curry, a $39 tasting menu, and more.
The restaurant will open Tuesday through Sunday for lunch starting at 11 a.m. and dinner starting at 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.
