A Greenwood Village ramen restaurant called Sukiya Ramen is prepping a new location at 450 North Broadway.
A Thursday visit to the spot, which is located a few blocks south of Speer and formerly housed a location of the now-defunct local chain Fat Jack’s Supersubs, revealed a coming soon sign as well as construction equipment on the inside of the space. The new location is also advertised as coming soon on the restaurant’s website.
The menu at the original Greenwood Village location, which is located at 7939 Arapahoe Road near the Denver Tech Center, features bowls of ramen that come in standard varieties including Miso, Tokontsu (broth made from boiled pork bones) and Shoyu (broth made with chicken and vegetable stock).
The menu also includes poke and donburi bowls (donburi bowls consist of meat or vegetables served over rice) as well as appetizers, including edamame, gyoza, and miso soup.
Eater reached out to Sukiya Ramen for more information about the new location but has not heard back.
The Greenwood Village location is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It is then open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and noon to 8 p.m. on Sundays. However, Sukiya Ramen has not yet published the hours for the new restaurant or announced when it will open.
