Just in time for the first day of winter, it's our pleasure to introduce Curbed Ski, a new website chronicling the glory of Great North American ski towns, from Stowe to Steamboat, Taos to Tahoe. If you drool over chalets and dream of pistes, Curbed Ski may well be your jam. Each day, editor Ryan Dunfee is cooking up a snowy batch of real estate porn, high altitude restaurant and retail news, snowfall celebration, mountain gossip, and more. Already today, Curbed Ski offers up interiors of Brooke Shields' Sun Valley mansion; a heatmap of where to eat around Lake Tahoe; and a photogallery of all the snow that's blanketed the nation's slopes from east to west this week. Go on, try a few turns.
· Curbed Ski [ski.curbed.com]

That drumbeat you hear? Our armies, plowing forward with more Curbed regional expansion to lands far and near. Up next: Curbed Mountains. We're looking an editor to cover the chalets, ranches, pistes, and local subculture that spans the ski towns of the American west. Ideally, you live in one of these towns—Aspen? Telluride? Park City? Sun Valley? Tahoe?—and enjoy a familiarity with many of them. Or perhaps you're based in Denver, Salt Lake City, or Santa Fe but find yourself on the slopes more days than not in the winter? If so, this could be the gig for you.

This is a part-time freelance gig with commensurate pay; you'll be able to work from anywhere you want so long as you keep your ear close to the ground for good real estate, architecture, neighborhoods, and parks & rec intel.

If you think you fit the bill, drop an email to jobs@curbed.com with a brief description about yourself and a paragraph or two about why you're interested in the job. If you've got a blog, please include a link to it as well. No resumes, please. If we like what we see, we'll be in touch quickly. Thanks. And away we go.
