Today Eater updates the Beer 38, our list of Colorado's 38 essential breweries. This list is an answer to the question, "How do I pick among the state's 350-plus craft breweries?"

The group covers a variety of styles, sizes, and ages of Colorado's craft beer houses, focusing on the Front Range region. Collectively, these spots should satisfy every taste and beer need. Every few months, we add pertinent breweries that were omitted or have recently become eligible. Older breweries that have stepped up their game may also be included. New to the map: Jessup Farm Barrel House, Weldwerks, and Wibby Brewing.

For the latest brewery openings, check out our beer Heatmap. Don’t see your favorite brewery on either map? Send us a tip.
