View as Map

Waffles have long been a sweet morning treat for the weekend (and weekday) brunch crowd. But take that morning fare a step further by adding fried chicken and either sweet maple syrup or a hearty gravy and somehow you've got the perfect bite for any time of day. And although the exact origins of the waffle or even chicken and waffles is still left unknown, there sure are enough theories to satisfy all your historical inquiry needs.

Regardless of where the first chicken and waffle combination was served, it's no surprise that it has become quite the lasting craze, one that we don't see going anywhere. For those times the craving hits, these top eight chicken and waffle favorites should hit the spot.
