Six days of beer events and more than 4,000 brews means one thing: The Great American Beer Festival is back. From Thursday September 20 to Saturday September 22, fans can break out the pretzel necklaces (and tickets are still available for the festival). But starting on Monday, they can say goodbye to responsibilities for the week. Here, a list of 16 GABF-related events. Call to Arms Brewing Company
Call to Arms brewery hosts a Catalina Wine Mixer, complete with taps from Cellar West Brewing Co., TRVE Brewing Co., and Westbound & Down Brewery. The event will pay homage to different brewing techniques and the modern classic “Step Brothers”; the tapping begins at 12 p.m. on Thursday.

The third annual Can-Wood Derby starts at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18. The free event supplies partygoers with all the supplies they need to create their own can-wood car. Before the race, racers can gain some liquid courage at happy hour and pre-GABF tastings.
