Spooky and Boozy Events in Denver this Halloween Weekend

Costume parties and contests, tricks and treats spill over into next week

View as Map

Though Halloween falls on a Tuesday, Denver-area restaurants and bars are partying throughout the weekend. Whatever twist the weather plans to throw at Denverites, plenty of establishments will be tantalizing local ghouls, goblins, and beer-drinking fools with warming cocktail specials and freebies. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed patrons, so pick out a costume lineup, or just keep the disguise on all weekend long.

In Boulder, the West End Tavern turns 30 with a throwback birthday celebration all weekend, while Avery Brewing Co. gears up to award cellar-aged goodies to the best-dressed patron. Drink RiNo overtakes the area on Sunday, allowing attendees to drink and treat at beloved neighborhood bars. Looking for a themed evening? Nocturne, Beatrice & Woodsley, and Terminal Bar embrace the mildly macabre at their spooky celebrations. And parents can take the kids to Avanti F&B to trick or treat while they partake in happy hour specials.
