Rimmed with salt, served on the rocks or crushed into oblivion — there are many ways to enjoy a margarita. Whichever way drinkers prefer theirs, Denver bars and restaurants are ready to pour a take on the tequila cocktail.

A number of these spots offer $5 margarita specials (see Adelita’s and Tacos Tequila Whiskey, among others). Hot spots such as Kachina Cantina and Machete Tequila + Tacos provide elevated versions. And it’s hard to go wrong with the mammoth 24-ounce margarita from Tacos Jalisco.
