Tucked away from the bustle of the street, noise of cars, and sight of passerbys, hidden patios provide an escape from reality and an extra opportunity to enjoy dining outdoors in Denver. There are some set in a garden, like the stunning Japanese-inspired one at Domo (pictured above) or the quiet charming one at Potager. Others bring back memories of backyards, like the one at the Post and Racca's Pizzeria Napoletana. From old to new, meaty to vegan, these 18 spots tempt you to linger and take advantage of the warm summer evenings with a glass of wine or pint of beer, along with a meal.

The restaurants and bars featured are presented in alphabetical order. If we missed your favorite, leave us a note in the comments or send a message via the tipline.
