LoDo, as the lower part of Downtown Denver is nicknamed, is a hub for fine and casual dining, bars, and beer-centric spots. Outside of the well-known Larimer Square,Ā which deserves a guide of its own, LoDo is chockfull of high and low end options, trendy and classic establishments, New-American and ethnic cuisine eateries.
Head to Union Station where some of Denver's best chefs, Alex Seidel and Jennifer Jasinski, have opened well-regarded restaurants, have a burger at the wildly popular Crave Real Burgers or tacos at the homey Mexican D'Corazon, or go for updated classic French at Coohills or traditional Italian at Venice. And if you're into the latest hot thing, get a sushi burrito at Komotodo and play some bocce ball at beer and sausage spot Rhein Haus.
Note: The map points are organized in alphabetical order. If we missed your favorite LoDo establishment, leave it in the comments below.
