The Great American Beer Fest fever takes over the Denver area this week at a medley of bars and restaurants. Different craft breweries from across the country, as well as from Colorado, will take over the taps for a week-long celebration in honor of GABF. Even if you don't have a ticket to the three-day event, you can still sample select craft beer, from new brews to old favorites at many of the beer-crazed spots in town.

On Wednesday, the pizzeria partners with River North Brewery and Funkwerks Brewery for beer tappings and giveaways. Expect Raspberry Provincial, Saison COnspiracy Blanc, and Cascade saison from Funkwerks and Saison COnspiracy Noir, Avarice, and White Ale. Representatives from each brewery will be around from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. to give out samples and prizes.

On Wednesday, October 5 at 11:30 a.m., Crooked Stave is releasing for the first time a special blueberry version of their Dark Sour, called Nightmare on Brett. Nightmare on Brett Blueberry is aged with whole fruit, getting the most out of the blueberries including color-change from the skin contact. Limit is six bottles per customer.
Odd13 Brewing stops by the restaurant on Tuesday, October 4 to tap select GABF Week worthy brews and hand out special giveaways. The tap list features brews like Boulder Brett, The Economist, and the collaboration brew Chainsaw the Princess of Karate.
