Hold your horses, there's a whole lot to do in Denver to celebrate the most exciting two minutes in sports tomorrow Saturday, May 4.

Restaurants and bars from across the Denver metro area are rolling out the specials, the parties, the bets, and the pre- and post- derby festivities. All you need to do is find the place that suits your fancy, dress up, and be ready to party. In the Kentucky Derby party map below, you will find eleven ways to celebrate tomorrow.

The Three Greatest Courses in Horses & Kentucky Derby Spectator Social is likely the hottest party in town for those looking for great food. Organized by Industry Denver in partnership with Share Our Strength, this three-course meal will feature cocktails designed and food prepared by Matt Selby of Corner House, Jensen Cummings from Slotted Spoon, Courtney Wilson of Old Major and other acclaimed local chefs and mixologists. The Brown Palace Hotel

The celebration in the hotel’s Ship Tavern is open to the public with the option for derby-goers to enjoy The Brown Palace’s rendition of the Mint Julep at the Ship Tavern for $20 and receive a keepsake Mint Julep chalice. Also at The Brown Palace on Derby day, at 12:45 p.m. in the Atrium Lobby, guests can enter the “Most Daring Derby Hat” contest for a chance to win brunch for two at Ellyington’s.

The Corner Office Restaurant

The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar will host its second annual Derby Day Brunch and After-Party in partnership with the world-famous Denver Derby Party. This year’s Denver Derby Party will take place in downtown Denver, along the revitalized 14th Street, home of The Corner Office Restaurant + Martini Bar. For those looking to make the Derby an all-day event, The Corner Office will kick off festivities at 10 a.m. with food and drink specials including country ham and biscuits and baby hot brown sliders, Grey Goose punches and, of course, mint juleps. After the “most exciting two minutes in sports” is complete, Derby Party attendees can walk directly to the after-party at The Corner Office. For only $10 at the door, which will go directly to the Sean Lough Memorial Scholarship Fund, revelers can carry on the Derby fun until 2 a.m.

Central Bistro and Bar

From 12 to 5 p.m., bring your best high hat to Central for a chance to win dinner for two. Central is teaming up with Woodford Reserve to bring you $6 mint julips and also offering celebratory Kentucky Hot Brown sandwiches and other race day accompaniments. Bonus: there will be door prizes.

Bar Car

From 2 to 6 p.m., for only $5, guests will enjoy the 3rd annual derby-themed party in the parking lot next to Bar Car. Two bands will play, a projection screen TV will be on, and a pizza-eating contest and a hat competition will round out the fun. The main bar will be open at 1 p.m. for a pre-party drink.

The Celtic Tavern and Delaney’s Cigar Bar and Lounge, equipped with off track betting (OTB), will celebrate with a Kentucky Derby party that kicks off at 8 a.m. on giving patrons plenty of time to place their bets for the first race, which begins at 8:45 a.m. There will be a contest with awesome prizes for best-dressed and best Hat. Table reservations are recommended and are $40 per four-top. Walk-ins are also welcome.

West End Tavern

West End Tavern will host the "Day at the Races" event. Part of the festivities will include racing hermit crabs where guests can bet on which crab will win. There will be prizes for the winner and the best dressed at the event. A very fancy mint julep will be offered: the $25 Woodford Reserve Mint Juliep with portion of proceeds benefiting Safe House.

Second Home Kitchen & Bar

Second Home Kitchen + Bar will be serving up a Colorado Mint Julep's made with Stranahan's whiskey for $11 and a Derby Day Flourless Chocolate Cake infused with whiskey and topped with mint ganache and a mint gelato will be offered for $8.

Wazee Supper Club

Wazee Supper Club will be pouring up Breckenridge Bourbon Mint Julips for $6 all day. Complimentary Derby Shots will be offered to anyone wearing a BIG hat. The kitchen will be making hot browns, a Louisville standard.

While there is no TV to watch the derby on, ChoLon Bistro will offer a special drink in honor of Derby Day. From 2 p.m. to close, guests can order the "I'll Have Another" Thai Julep for $6.
