As the end of October rapidly approaches, Denver restaurants and bars are embracing the spirit of the dead. In addition to a number of Halloween parties at local spots like Forest Room 5 and Terminal Bar, restaurants, art galleries, and neighborhoods are celebrating Día de los Muertos. Su Teatro honors the occassion with an Altares Vivos event, complete with ofrendas, live music, and performances.

Both the Santa Fe Art District and 40 West Arts District are celebrating with art crawls and community celebrations, kicking off with a Calavera Catrina parade, Aztec dancers, and plenty of local food and artwork. From zombie dinners to adult trick-or-treating, Denverites won’t be bored either holiday weekend.
