Even without the Broncos in the Super Bowl this year, a matchup between the Eagles and the Patriots makes for an exciting day of game- and people- watching at local restaurants and breweries. From discounted drafts to cook-offs, Denver-area businesses are offering a range of specials to entice both the casual and the hardcore football fans out there.

Take-out options on Super Bowl Sunday include a pizza pie (or three) from Mici, Italian hoagies from Rosenberg’s Bagels and Delicatessen, or fried chicken and beer from any of The Post locations.

Those looking to drink out of the house can stop at bars such as The Brutal Poodle, Beryl’s Brewing Company, and Epic Brewing. And for the friends more interested in a Puppy Bowl, Romero’s K9 Club & Tap House will air the event during a visit from Moms and Mutts, the Colorado Rescue for Pregnant and Nursing Dogs program.

Note: Map points are not ranked but organized from west to east.
