Work & Class

A square meal, a stiff drink, a fair price is the motto at the new RiNo restaurant Work & Class. With an extensive rotisserie-based menu, the restaurant features comfort food, peppered at times with Mexican influences brought by chef/owner Dana Rodriguez.

Argyll Whisky Beer, A Gastropub

This new gastropub opened its doors in Uptown with great reception. Cocktails are appealing and unique, the selection of whiskys impressive, and the food created by chef John Broening a great bet.

The Plimoth

This eclectic yet approachable restaurant that opened in North City Park has quietly but swiftly acquired a loyal following. In a softy light dining room, chef Peter Ryan serves dishes grounded in classic French and Italian cuisine.

Bistro Barbès

In the quaint Park Hill neighborhood, this new restaurant owned by chef Jon Robbins brings classic French food with North African, Middle Eastern, and Spanish influences. Don't miss the octopus if it's still on the ever-changing menu. Note: on holiday break until July 8.

Sassafras American Eatery

The original Jefferson Park breakfast eatery is now bringing its Southern-inspired fare to East Colfax. In a more sleek decor and larger dining area, guests can get staple favorites like the po’ boys and loaded grits, as well as new dishes like the blackened market fish and housemade boudin sausage.

Ste. Ellie

The bar and eatery, sister to the three year old Colt & Gray restaurant, finally opened in a sexy space with crafted cocktails and an edited food menu that is served until 1:30 a.m.

To The Wind

Chef Royce Oliveira opened this quaint bistro in March and with it he created an oasis of Parisian dining on East Colfax. The space is small, the food deceptively simple, and the atmosphere irresistible. Beware that the eatery is on vacation until July 9.

Lower 48

In a Ballpark location that can accommodate 98 guests Mario Nocifera and his partner, Alex Figura, are serving an eclectic mix of items ranging from chickpea fries to a braised brisket. Fermented, pickled, or smoked are descriptions you'll find in nearly every dish.

The Bitter Bar

Recently reopened under sole ownership of experienced bartender James Lee, the Bitter Bar is a Boulder hotspot. Lee brought back the $8 cocktails and took the fuss of a hostess and full food menu out- it's just a neighborhood bar with great drinks.

The Post Brewing Co.

Fried chicken, house-brewed beers, and fresh pies pack the house day and night at the Post. This latest Dave Query/Big Red F venture is a hot spot in the small town of Lafayette.
